Stairs

We have developed a comprehensive range of stair and handrails to suit both the traditional needs of federation homes and the modern designs of prestige harbour side developments.

All our stair designs comply with the Australian Standard AS 1657-1992: Fixed platforms, walkways, stairways and ladders - Design, construction and installation and the Building Code of Australia.

All our designs have the following compliance requirements:

• A maximum of 18 steps in a flight of stairs. If more stairs are needed there must be a landing installed to allow pedestrians a rest.
• The Rise must not be more than 125mm.
• The Going must not be less than 240mm.
